A new difficulty came into Alice's head (новая трудность пришла Алисе в голову). `Supposing it couldn't find any (а что, если она не сможет его найти)?' she suggested (предположила она; to suggest — предлагать, советовать; подсказывать /мысль/, намекать).

`Then it would die, of course (тогда она умрет, конечно же).'

`But that must happen very often (но это, должно быть, происходит очень часто),' Alice remarked thoughtfully (задумчиво заметила Алиса; thought — мысль, размышление).
