Tasso slid into the ship and lowered herself into the pressure seat.	Тассо проскользнула в люк и плюхнулась в кресло.

Tasso pulled the pistol from her belt.	Тассо вытащила из-за пояса оружие.
She held it in her hand, weighing it thoughtfully.	Она задумчиво держала его на ладони, словно взвешивая.
"Don't go too far from this location.	- Не уходи далеко.
It'll be hard to find you, as it is." "No. I'll stay here by the well."	Иначе тебя будет тяжело найти.
Tasso gripped the take-off switch, running her fingers over the smooth metal.	Она взялась за стартовую рукоятку.
"A beautiful ship, Major.	- Прекрасный корабль, майор.

"Give me the pistol," Hendricks said impatiently, holding out his hand.	- Дай пистолет, - протягивая руку, нетерпеливо повторил Хендрикс.

Tasso tossed the pistol past Hendricks.	С этими словами Тассо отбросила пистолет.
The pistol clattered against the ground, bouncing and rolling away.	Он ударился о землю и, подпрыгивая, покатился прочь.
Hendricks hurried after it. He bent down, snatching itup.	Хендрикс быстро, как мог, устремился за ним.
The hatch of the ship clanged shut.	Лязгнула крышка люка.
The bolts fell into place.	Болты встали на место.
Hendricks made his way back. The inner door was being sealed. He raised the pistol unsteadily.	Хендрикс нерешительно подобрал пистолет.
There was a shattering roar.	Раздался оглушительный рев.
The ship burst up from its metal cage, fusing the mesh behind it.	Оплавляя металл каркаса, корабль вырвался из клетки.
Hendricks cringed, pulling back.	Хендрикс, сжавшись, отпрянул.
The ship shot up into the rolling clouds of ash, disappearing into the sky.	Вскоре корабль скрылся за тучами.
