"Wait a moment," said Winnie-the-Pooh, holding up his paw.	"Минутку-минутку", говорит Винни-Пух, поднимая лапу.
He sat down and thought, in the most thoughtful way he could think.	Он сел и крепко задумался.
Then he fitted his paw into one of the Tracks ... and then he scratched his nose twice, and stood up.	Затем он вложил одну из своих лап в один из Следов, потом дважды потянул носом и встает.
"Yes," said Winnie-the-Pooh.	"Да", говорит Винни-Пух.

And then he brightened up suddenly.	И вдруг он просиял.
"Anyhow," he said, "it is nearly Luncheon Time."	"Как-бы-то-нибыло", говорит, "а наступает Время Ланча".
So he went home for it.	С этой благородной целью он и пошел домой.

THE Old Grey Donkey, Eeyore, stood by himself in a thistly corner of the forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself,	Иногда он тоскливо спрашивал себя: --

"Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought,	"Отчего?", а иногда он думал:
"Inasmuch as which?" -- and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.	"Ввиду того, что?"[22] -- а иногда он вообще не знал, о чем он думал.
