When he was sick (когда он болел: «был больным») Frau Lublonitsch took his meals with her own hands (фрау Люблонич относила «его» еду своими собственными руками; meal — пища, еда, блюдо) to a room upstairs set aside for his sickness (в комнату наверху, выделенную по случаю: «для» его болезни; to set aside — отводить, предназначать, откладыватьчто-либодлякого-либо; sickness — болезнь, заболевание). But she was undoubtedly the boss (но, без всякого сомнения, она была боссом; todoubt— сомневаться, подвергать сомнению).
