Bilbo was astonished (Бильбо был удивлен). The only path was marked with white stones (единственная тропинка была размечена белыми камнями) some of which were small (некоторые из которых были маленькие), and others were half covered with moss or heather (а другие были наполовину покрыты мхом или вереском).
