Разведка — это, часто, смертельная игра, и ставка в этой игре максимальная из возможных — жизнь. Однако для людей, не боящихся опасности, побуждаемых чувством патриотизма и готовых, в случае необходимости, рисковать собой ради своей страны, никакая другая работа не сможет сравниться с работой в этой области человеческой деятельности. И пока существуют конфронтация, соперничество, пока есть армии и угроза войны, будут нужны и эти люди — секретные агенты.
